A non-refundable deposit equal to the venue hire will secure the venue for the date specified.

Booking deposit terms regarding cancellation:

  • If cancellation is requested 1 year or more before the function date, a 90% refund of this deposit will be paid back to the client.
  • If cancellation is requested 1 year to 6 months before the function date, a 50% refund of this deposit will be paid back to the client.  Unless Diamond 4 receives another booking for the same date, a 90% refund of this deposit will be paid back to the client.
  • If cancellation is requested 6 months to 3 months before the function date, a 25% refund of this deposit will be paid back to the client.  Unless Diamond 4 receives another booking for the same date, a 75% refund of this deposit will be paid back to the client.
  • If cancellation is requested 3 months and less before the function date, this deposit won't be refunded, therefore then non-refundable.  Unless Diamond 4 receives another booking for the same date, a 50% refund of this deposit will be paid back to the client.

In case a function needs to be cancelled for any reason the above terms will apply to the date booked firstly.  Then, if another date wants to be booked, it will be considered as a new booking and a new booking deposit must be paid.

An extra refundable deposit of R5 000 (80 - 400 guests) or R10 000 (401+ guests) is added to the total for any damages to property outside the normal wear and tear and will be deducted from this deposit worked on replacement value.  The remaining funds will be paid back within 10 working days after the function date.

The remainder of the amount quoted and accepted must be paid in full 20 working days prior to the function date; otherwise the function will be accepted as cancelled.
